The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 require businesses to provide clear health and safety signage. So if there are safety risks on your commercial property, you are obliged to install safety signs and warning signs that are clearly visible. Depending on the nature of your business, you may also be required to post safety signs on roads, entrances and equipment. There are many safety sign suppliers that sell safety signs, and many only stock safety signs that comply with British Standards.
