> Job description: Supply, installation and Termination of 5 X cat 6a cables and outlets in a office space no more that 15M away from hub. Termination of fiber optic cable (Pre installed) Termination of 56 pair PABX cable (pre installed) Presentation of formal acceptance The use of wiring testers that carry out tests up to a frequency of 500 MHz will be required. The test equipment used for formal acceptance shall be indicated in the tender submission documentation. For each formal acceptance, the following elements shall be measured and checked, for each pair, and the results recorded in a formal acceptance document, with one sheet of results for each link tested (graphs and typical frequencies). The formal acceptance shall also be submitted on computer media (CD-Rom). Two copies of this formal acceptance shall be submitted to the Owner and the Engineer for analysis. The Contractor shall carry out the validation measurements on the channel in accordance with standard ISO/CEI 11801: �� the terminal point, �� the distribution cable, �� the distribution connector, �� the switching and linking cables. These measurements shall be recorded in a document, stating, for each link: �� its length; �� the attenuation; �� the paradiaphony (NEXT); �� the cumulative paradiaphony (PowerSum NEXT); �� the telediaphony (ELFEXT); �� the cumulative telediaphony (PowerSum ELFEXT); �� the paradiaphonic discrepancy (ACR); �� the cumulative paradiaphonic discrepancy (PowerSum ACR); �� the levels of reflection (Return Loss); �� the propagation time (Propagation Delay); �� the dispersion of the propagation time (Skew Delay); �� etc. The measurements shall be taken with a cable tester suitable for the class of the links to be tested (level III minimum). The heads of this tester shall comply with those recommended by the manufacturer of the link chain. 4.3.9.2 Optical formal acceptance The measurements of the optical characteristics of the link shall be taken with a reflectometer. They shall be taken in both directions at the two wavelengths corresponding to the various types of fibre on each fibre. These measurements shall determine for each fibre: �� the on-line attenuation; �� the loss at the insertion of each FO connector; �� the loss at the extraction of each FO connector; �� the reflection of each of the events; ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE E-MAIL.
