> Job description: I have a cast iron fireplace fitted at the moment. However I have noticed that the old gas supply is not closed off properly and the hearh is not set corrcetlt and the recess has had no vermalite in place. I do have a gas fire to insert into the cast iron fire if this was possible. The cast iron fire will need to be removed. The hearth set correctly. The gas either closed off safetly so I can use the fire as a coal/wood burning fire or have the gas fire in it. The whole fire needs to be set up correctly as it is currently unusable and is not safe. Thank you.
