> Job description: At present our porch is made of UPVC, it has a UPVC door frame and a standard UPVC door. The walls and the floor within the porch have been tiled. We would like all of this removed. We would like to re-enstate a traditional open plan victorian porch/canopy to go with the period property, a door frame and a draft resistant door, (we would supply). We would like the internal walls replastered and the floor tiled with victorian tiles (we would supply). We would like the porch floor area to be extended by a foot from the current size. There is a slated roof currently over the porch, but would like better shielding from the elements as part of the design of the new canopy. I expect we would need a carpenter/joiner to make a decorative canopy/porch woodwork. There is a house on the same road that would be a good example of what we have in mind. All woodwork must be weatherproof. As the current UPVC porch is floor to roof, once that is removed, a wall ideally made of original reclaimed bricks will have to be built that seperates from the neighbour, but I suspect this can be arranged by us if not by yourselves as the current front garden wall should be removed and built right around again using reclaimed bricks.
