> Job description: My house is a 2 storey Victorian mid terrace built in brick with sandstone detailing including window openings, sills and lintels, and with a 2 storey front bay. The bay stonework appears to have been in poor condition at some point in the past and been rendered. In the recent cold weather, the rendering on one of the upstairs sills has crumbled and fallen off completely. Part of the lintel above one of the downstairs bay windows has also crumbled in one corner, but I do not know if the damage is to structural or decorative stonework. Because of this, I d like to get a quote relatively quickly to determine whether or not there is likely to be a structural problem with the bay.
