> Job description: In September 2010 we purchased a large 6 bedroom house in Potto (DL6 3EY) built in 1860. We are looking for a heating solution as the current LPG fired boiler system is completely ineffective and expensive to run. We have a large amount of land outside and can therefore accommodate ground source trenches. We probably would not consider underfloor heating as we are reluctant to disturb the fabric of the original building, but as we refurbish the interior we are included oversized radiators to accommodate a lower radiator temperature should we go with a ground source heating system. We are completely open in terms of the solution but one restriction is that we only have single phase electricity.
