The ramp is of a T-shape varying in hight from ground level to 18' above ground level as the property is on a slope. The design will need to cater for wheelchair access making two 90 degree turns. The ramp starts at level of first step from the pavement proceeds about 12' and makes a 90 degree turn to the right. The turn extends some 21' makes another 90 degree turn to the left with length about 12' where it abuts to an external entrance. An additional straight line ramp extends from the right turn. is about 18' long and slopes from about 18' to ground level where it abuts to a concrete path. All told the T shape extends some 30' in length with a 21' extension as described above. Two 90 degree turns need to be negotiated by the wheelchair in access to or from the property and the design will need to cater for these wheelchair turns. Average width is about 3.5' making for 3.5' * 30' plus 3.5 * 12' plus 3.5 * 12 = 190 sq ft minimal surface area. I'd suggest it is an excellent pilot project for contractors wishing to assist the landlord in its responsibilities to cater for accessibility issues.  ...
