We originally had a management company overseeing the gardens but decided to cease ties with them and now have decided to make arrangements for our own gardener.  The details of the job are outlined below: LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP (WHICH IS MADE UP OF 8 PROPERTIES)  MAINTENANCE OF LAWNS:  Walk over site prior to grass cutting to pick up and remove any litter.  Mow grass fortnightly collecting cutting and removing from site.  Cut grass to a height determined by growth rate and climatic conditions.  Strim off lawn edges to neaten appearance and to define edges between lawn and shrub borders.  In drought conditions when the grass does not need to be cut, the time on site will be utilised by carrying out other duties as required.  BORDERS and SHRUBS:  Hoe all borders on each visit to prevent weed growth and cultivate soil.  Prune shrubs and hedges when required according to growth rate, type and species of plant.  Remove all cuttings from site.  WEED TREATMENT:  Remove and Weed treat along paved areas and kerb lines.  WINTER MAINTENANCE:  Attend site to rake up all fallen leaves during winter season, and remove from site.  Treat paths with rock salt as required in the event of snow fall or severe frost (excludes materials) Carry out hard pruning to shrubs as required.  SMALL MINOR ODD JOBS:  Mend minor brickwork, loose fence panel, jobs that require no more than 1 hours work. (excludes materials) ATTENDANCES REQUIRED: 18 Visits per year April - September (12 Visits) - 2 Visits per month October - March (6 Visits) - 1 Visit per month Initial Contract - 3 month rolling contract, once both parties are happy we will commit to 1 year thereafter.   ...
