> Job description: I own the upper flat of a terrace property that has been converted into 2 flats. I want to build up and create an additional floor with 2 bedrooms. Currently the flat has the kitchen and bathroom on the first split level you reach going up the stairs, then up to the next level you reach the living room and bedroom. The two bedrooms would be built above the living room and bedroom. The roof there is double pitched/ London roof with a centre valley gutter for drainage. There is a paraphet wall at the front of the property approx 1m tall, the left hand side party wall is approximately 2.5 m tall, right hand side approx 1.5m. Other property s in the local area have similar extensions so I do not anticipate difficulties in gaining planning permission. The roof here slants down from approx 2m height at an angle of about 35 degrees.
