> Job description: Following a Home Buyers survey, the surveyor noted that: The windows are timber framed units which have generally suffered from a lack of maintenance over the years with areas of weathering, peeling paintwork and wet rot . I would therefore like a quote for the repair of the external joinery. There are three original arched windows in the lounge, one window in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and one in a bedroom - all first floor and all sashed except for the bathroom which has a small awning window (think this is the right term!). There are also more modern windows (two sash and two sky lights) on the second floor but I believe these are ok. But it would be great if you could quote for just the first floor windows and also for all the windows (i.e. including the second floor windows) so I can see the difference. Please provide a quote and details of what you would do. Many thanks
