> Job description: Dear Sir/Madam We are acting on behalf of our landlord and we are managing agent of the property which require specific fire proof door to be supplied and installed. The flat is located in a bloc of flats. Remove flat entrance door and cart away. Supply and fit new pre-finished FD30s door to BS476: Part 22: 1987 to suit opening, flush faced in oak wood veneer, with concealed hardwood lippings, spy glass and letter box opening, complete with intumescent fire and smoke seals routed into the top and both sides of the door, 3no. self closing hinges, intumescent letter box lining and intumescent lock and hinge paper. Supply and fit 1no. 5-lever mortice deadlock and 1no. deadlocking cylinder rim night latch to each door with 2no. keys to each. Supply and fit chrome escutcheon, letter box kit and flat number. Note: All apertures to be factory prepared. No site cutting of apertures permitted. Hinges to comply with BS EN 1935 Latches to conform to BS 5872, BS 3621 or EN 12209 Supply and fit FD30s flush faced paint grade MDF faced door, primed with 2no. coats satinwood finish to match the other doors. The complete doorset, including existing frame, lining etc. should comply with BS476: Part 22: 1987 to comply with fire regulations. Therefore, the opening may have to be altered as part of the installation works. This must be made very clear to the carpenter supplying/hanging the new door. Please note that we would need to obtain compliancy certificate when the door has been installed.
