> Job description: Need a quote please for master bedroom decorating. Room is double size, not overly spacious. Walls are probably plasterboard (Barratt house built around 1982). Currently walls are wallpapered plus paper border above dado rail. Dado needs to be stripped (currently part painted with gloss). Walls need to be prepared for painting and border removed. Paint ceiling. Prepare and paint 4 walls. Paint woodwork (dado, door frame, internal door, internal fitted cupboard door, skirting). Please can you quote and advise techniques used - eg, will dado be removed, stripped and replaced or just stripped in situ? Will just paper border be removed or will all wallpaper need to come off and then new lining applied before painting? Is it likely any plastering required or can any stripping be done without damage to plasterboard? Currently no carpetting so would like work completed soon-ish so new carpet can be fitted.
