> Job description: I have reviewed your information on the website and would like to ask you some questions. I have two houses currently heating the water either via a back boiler in a fire (indirect heating via coil in tank) or by electric immersion. I have no wish to change the water tank or the existing systems which are extremely efficient and provide hot water and radiator heating. In summer however I need the immersion when the fire is not lit.
1. Would your system operate fitting it into an existing solid fuel heating system (vented) which heats the hot water through a coil in the hot water tank?
2. The thinking behind this is ease of plumbing into existing systems, expansion system all set up already and relief for overheating also available – in one system by overflow heat into an always on radiator in return line in the other by a thermostat which switches on the central heating readiators if the water gets too hot.
I think it may work because if I switch on the electric immersion in our main house at present and forget to ‘isolate’ the other circuit (via a flow valve) then I end up heating the overflow radiator quite effectively.
Your comments and if appropriate, costing please!
Thank you
