The house is an old victorian terrrace and there is considerable noise on the ground floor from the floor of the 1st floor.there is also noise from the drain pipe from the bathroom on the second floor which runs inside down the wall to the ground floor. we may consider other places in the house also. We would like to use eco products if possible and would prefer if someone could come out and recommend what needs to done so that there is as little as possible distrubance while the work is carried out.

The roof of the house we are buying has been converted into two bedrooms. It is semidetatched and adjoins another conversion. The partition walls are thin and let the noise through. Our conversion has two separate bedrooms against the partition wall, separate by the stairwell. We would need both walls to have soundproofing. The length of the two bedroom adjoining walls are are 14 foot and 13 foot respectively.
