After a survey we have been told that although the front slope is adequately supported on vertical struts and a timber beam, the rear slope is inadequately supported and is sagging noticeably. It needs to be strengthened with a timber beam and strut. Is it possible to do this without removing the whole roof and what would the cost be? There are no walls at either side to attach a purlin to because the roof space is ope to both neighbours.
